  2. Hi, This is Rachels Mom. I would also like to say thank you for those words that you sent to Rachel. I have never heard a poem so true and loving about adoption. I am so happy that my daughter was able to give you this gift of family and that your prayers have been answered. Isabella is very lucky to have found such wonderful parents. With all my love, Sheri

  3. oK..Now my turn..I too was blessed by this experience. Even though I have had two children of my own – I was able to see birth at a different advantage point. It was the most amazing experience of my life!!! Rachel – for that I thank you – I never knew what a strong woman you were. And Dana and Brian – I wasn’t sure what to expect or how to react. I didn’t want to show you too much love for fear of hurting Rachel. Now that that part is done – allow me to share my thoughts.

    When I heard Rachel say to Dana immediately after Isabella was born “Hold her, she is your daughter” I then knew it was going to be alright. The strength in my niece was truly remarkable!!! And what a loving – remarkable act she did. And Dana, you were immediately bonded – and Brian – even though you were in shock – you just loved everyone immediately though your tears (yes, I saw them) and then when I kissed you – you got my face all wet!!! My make-up was a mess!!

    I am proud to have helped two loving people share their dream of a lifetime. They are truly two wonderful parents and the love that they share just between them daily – is so apparent for the eyes to see.

    And for Rachel – the gift you have given me to allow myself to be part of this truly amazing experience – we will be bonded for life.

    So for all of you – CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU DANA AND BRIAN – I AM SURE YOU ARE ENJOYING YOUR MOST CHERISHED PRESENT. AND TO YOU RACHEL – THANK YOU FOR THIS GIFT AS WELL!!! I KNOW WE ARE ALL RICHER BECAUSE OF IT..
