Just a quick update to share pictures of Isabella starting kindergarten! She loved going this week and was only disappointed that she had to come home, haha. I’m also adding a couple of pictures from her first soccer game of the season where she played goalie for the first time and scored a few goals! Hoping all is well with all of you!
Isabella continues to develop into such an amazing girl. She is funny, smart, caring, and adventurous. She finished pre-K in June and is excited (and a little nervous!) to start kindergarten this fall. She is super active, filled with energy, and has continued to attend dance classes and swimming lessons this past year along with playing soccer in the fall and spring. She even watched World Cup soccer games a bit this year (we cheered for Mexico). She eats like crazy and legitimately loves all sorts of fruits and vegetables! Her favorite things to do are to go to the beach and to play with her dogs. At the beach she loves to collect rocks and shells (she also loves to collect rocks from just about anywhere we happen to find ourselves!). Her favorite movies are the Descendants and Coco. She enjoys telling people that she is “extra special” because she is adopted.
We spent some time this summer in southern California and she got to visit Disneyland and a whole bunch of west coast beaches.
We remember this day five years so vividly and not a day goes by that we don’t think of the incredible selflessness and love that your family displayed in blessing us with the greatest gift we could ever receive in life. We hope this update finds you all well.
We are hoping this autumn finds you all happy and healthy. Isabella is doing really great! She just started Pre-K in September at the same place she had previously gone to pre-school. Her teachers love her and have told us that she is bright and, more importantly, friendly and helpful with the other students. She has made a lot of friends there. Additionally she participates in dance classes, soccer, and swimming lessons. We’ll post more after the holidays. Wishing you all the best!

Isabella is a happy, healthy, and brilliant girl. She is absolutely the most wonderful thing to have ever happened to us. Many times a day she will make us smile and laugh as we marvel at the individual she is becoming. She is involved in both dance and soccer as well as going to preschool. She loves to read books and every night she will “read” to us as she turns the pages and tells us what is happening on each page. Bella also loves to line her stuffed animals up and play “teacher” with them. She is a ball of energy, never sitting still for very long and she loves to play with our two dogs.

Hoping all is well with you. Isabella is continuing to grow and flourish. She amazes us and brings such great joy to us on a daily basis. She has a great sense of humor and loves to make people laugh.
Isabella loves Yoda, Sophia the First, and Minnie Mouse. For the first time she seems really excited for Christmas. We went twice to Sesame Place this year which she really enjoyed.
There is not a day that goes by that we aren’t incredibly and deeply thankful for the amazing gift that you have blessed us with. Sending our love and best wishes…
Isabella is continuing to thrive. She is starting to speak in two word phrases… “More please,” “Sit down,” “Oh no.” She is running all over the place and loves playing with out dogs. She recently played in the snow for the first time too! She also loves watching Sesame Street and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Enjoy the updated pictures!
Growing up quite a bit! She seems like a little girl now rather than a baby! Isabella is walking all over the place and starting to say words. She amazes us every day with what she is learning.
Happy birthday Rachel! We are thinking of you today and we are more grateful than ever for the incredible gift that you have given us.

On Saturday we celebrated Isabella’s first birthday with a big party at our house. We all had a great time. She is doing really well. Just the past few days she is really getting closer to walking. She will take about four or five steps at a time before falling down. She seems more determined every day to walk further and further! Here are some pictures from her birthday…

We continue to feel more and more blessed each day to have Isabella in our lives. She is a very happy baby, always smiling and laughing. She loves attention from anyone she meets. Isabella also LOVES dogs! Any time she sees one when we are out in public she laughs and squeals with delight!
