I apologize it took a little bit of time. We each got hit pretty badly with COVID in December and were then just trying to get through the holiday craziness. You are welcome to send things there at any time.
You should know that Isabella is very proud to be adopted. She’s told her friends about it and has told us that she feels lucky because she knows that she has two families that love her. That’s how we have always tried to frame it for her and will continue to going forward as she becomes more mature and curious… that her adoption was an act of love and one of the truest ones we have ever seen. Please know that we regularly think about how your family sacrificed so deeply out of love for our daughter and that we never take that for granted.
Below are a few pics from the holiday season. If it looks like she is getting really big, well, she is! She recently had her annual well visit at the doctor and she has grown 3 inches and gained 13 pounds over the past year!

Hello, thank you for the updates. I live for them. Im sending out a letter withen the next cpl days and was gonna make her a bracelet if thats ok. Umm, its compleatly fine if not nd i wont make a habbit out of it but id really like to tlk to you now that izzys getting older. Do you think its possible to call me? Theirs jst some things about mental health, severe, and i feel guilty bc i never told u the extent of it. My daughter was seeing signs by her age, so im hoping it skipped izzy. No not at all, sounds good. I just put letters for u guys in the mail. I made izzy a bracelet and sent her a 4 leaf clover. I hope thats ok. I never kno if u want me out of her life more or not, if sending u guys letters is ok or u jst feel bad saying no
Of course it is ok… and we are totally fine with you sending things. We can talk in more depth about this tonight because there is obviously nuance to the situation, but she will very likely want to meet you some day and she will really value the letters over time that we have for her from you. We recently told her about how you loved sour patch watermelon candy when you were pregnant with her and she loved learning that 🙂 Looking forward to tonight
